Nature Lovers

All right, I admit it -- I'm not exactly a lover of nature. I'm not a hiker or a jogger, I have no desire to climb rocks or feel the wind shushing against my face while downhill skiing.
Give me a climate-controlled building with lots of nooks and crannies to explore; give me a fireplace and a good book.
But while I have been known to exclaim "Pave it all!" in reference to the great outdoors, that doesn't mean I don't have some small appreciation for things that grow. Hence the picture above of what I have recently decided is my favorite flower: alstroemeria.
Also known as a Peruvian lily or Lily of the Incas, for whatever reasons, this flower has captured my fancy. And if you believe the wide variety of meanings associated with flowers,
